drugo Posted July 15 Share Posted July 15 Hi i have installed on a old laptop microsoft 2016 pro ,installed , sadly i could not perform a custom installation , i would like to install only word - excel and outlook I have installed printer drivers , wireless , it works but i can not find any way to scan a document or an image , is there a tutorial how to scan inside microsoft word is there a tutorial how do it ? and i would like to have a free application to scan very quickly ,but free ,NAPS2 is not compatibile with sierra is there a free software to scan documents for sierra? please don't ask me to upgrade to high sierra ,just because this laptop is not mine ,it's my girlfriend 's laptop thanks Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1443828-how-can-i-scan-document-photos-with-microsoft-2016-for-macos-sierra/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nick H. Supervisor Posted August 15 Supervisor Share Posted August 15 You can't scan from inside Microsoft Word on any operating system as far as I'm aware. What is the make and model of your scanner? Apparently you can scan from the Preview app. The instructions here are for 10.14, but I think they should work for Sierra as well...
