Deep_Level_Shark
After watching this video , I will not buy HP laptop ever. What a pathetic design inside. Huge number of screws. I would fire that designer who suggested to use these many screws. Thanks for the video. Very useful goretsky 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1444320-cooling-fan-replacement/#findComment-598919639 Share on other sites
Mindovermaster Global Moderator Posted July 27 Global Moderator Share Posted July 27 Most laptops are like that.. Not all, but most. Consoles are worse than that.. goretsky 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1444320-cooling-fan-replacement/#findComment-598919665 Share on other sites

Nick H. Supervisor Posted July 28 Supervisor Share Posted July 28 I've just taken a look at my laptop, and I think I need to remove 17 screws to get to the internals. Doesn't seem too bad for me since I would only do it when replacing something or cleaning it out. And at least they're numbered: goretsky 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1444320-cooling-fan-replacement/#findComment-598919769 Share on other sites

Pretty simple, they don't want you in it.. 😛 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1444320-cooling-fan-replacement/#findComment-598919817 Share on other sites
