Ryzen 7 9700X in the Linux test: Faster and more efficient than under Windows?

According to this test, the new Ryzen 9700X is faster on Linux than on windows in most use cases.

A conclusion is also made:
For gamers, however, the Ryzen 7000X3D remains the first choice, regardless of the operating system used.

I don't know if this conclusion is entirely correctly reasoned.
You can e.g. also use the R7 9700X in Linux and then you might have narrowly higher performance in games than the Ryzen 7000 generation + windows.
In apps you then also have higher performance than Ryzen 7000 + windows, and lower power consumption.

I read that AMD had to adjust the pricing down on the new chips because they themselves proved that the 7800X3D was still the better choice in gaming performance.
