Duplicate OneDrive Folders After Clean Install

Question

Hello All

I have a little problem--Duplicate Onedrive folders after a clean install,  Ei.cfg didn't work to install Windows 11 Pro Directly, so i had to login to MS store, and hit upgrade in there after the original install

Except now i got duplicate Onedrive folders on PC Admin account (i switched that back to Local Admin account) and my Standard user account is one i wanna use with Microsoft account, and use Onedrive on

How do i fix this?

Do i just unlink it from Admin account later? or Reset it as well

And do i need to unlink from User with Microsoft Account as well?  then resetup?

First time i ever had issue like this, previously my old system always installed Pro directly during the install, i never had it where it detected Home, and autoly installed that, maybe cause last system was custom built and not Prebuilt?

Guess i should've created the User account/with Microsoft account, then did the upgrade to Pro right away after the clean install

Try unlinking OneDrive, which probably won't work so drill down to

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace

in RegEdit, and delete the duplicate entry for OneDrive. Hopefully it won't come back after a reboot.

Yes I ended up doing the regedit method, hopefully doesn't come back after a reboot,

Guess will see on that part later today

Unlinking and restarting did not help at all

Well after a restart,   unforuately came back lol---now shows  the following

Is there a better way in the future when i eventually upgrade Main M.2 Drive for a better one to be immediately on Windows 11 Pro after a clean install?       Keep in Mind PC was a Prebuilt from Ibuypower, so maybe there isn't a way , and i'll just have to do the clean install,  then create my 2nd account, then add Microsoft Account to set one,  then upgrade thru MS Store,  instead of signing in on PC Admin account

If it matters any used Rufus to create the Boot Flash Drive for Windows 11 This time,  guess maybe i should've stuck to Media creation tool,  then i could've done the oobe bypass to skip internet requirement, entered Local account info,  added microsoft account after install,  upgraded to Windows 11 Pro,   then added my usual PC Admin account as local for Admin tasks afterwards  Doh,   well next time can do it this way and avoid any problems

Current Main M.2 Boot Drive is Kingston NV 2 1TB

eventually may replace with a Samsung model for Main Boot & If possible secondary Game M.2 in the future

Don't see an Unpin option unforuately or i would totally do that

Well guess can live with it, til Christmas when i get my new Boot M.2 Drive, and then gonna make this current one Game M.2 til possibly February birthday then may replace with either a Samsung, Western digital, Crucial branded drive, or Kingston Fury,  depending on whichever Boot M.2 is

Rather just run 1 Management software if i can lol

Unless i ask Onedrive support on what to do lol,  is another option i can try when i got time on this matter

Fixed!!!

Late last night i decided to try one last ditch effort to solve it

Uninstalled OneDrive

Removed from Registry (on advise of a Microsoft Answers forum post i found)

Restarted system

Resetup OneDrive

1 Folder showing in File Explorer window now

Restarted to make sure 2 didn't come back

Updated System Backup this morning

All is Well!!
