LightEco
Heya, I'm trying to update to 24H2 and I'm getting blocked by all methods I try with the message "This PC can't be upgraded to this version of Windows. Your PC has a driver or service that isn't ready for this version of Windows. Windows Update will automatically offer you this version of Windows once the issue has been resolved." I've tried Windows Update, the Installation Assistant, and the ISO. Is there any way to find out what the blocker is or get around the block? LittleNeutrino Veteran Posted October 11 Veteran Share Posted October 11 look in the event viewer to find out what the driver or service is that is blocking it, and temporarily remove it. Pork Chopper
Do we really want to update to 24H2 at this time? Seems to be a few problems with it from what I am reading. LightEco
Thanks all! I figured it out. Turns out I had a old version of EAC clogging up my services. I had to manually delete it, but then it worked fine. Rocking 24H2 now without any issues. goretsky 1 Share Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1447459-windows-11-24h2-install-blocked/#findComment-598938016 Share on other sites
