h0ax
i really love this kind of threads, but now i have to write one myself... :( my brother has my powermac g4 quicksilver (733 mhz) and now he's killed it... he put it to sleep and during the sleep he managed to turn off the power to it. now it won't start at all, but the power button lights up. any advice how to make it work again? sebaz
I guess it should be on the motherboard a label that says PMU reset or a little black button like the one pictured above no? Anyhow let me see what i can find for you. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/144747-powermac-wont-start/#findComment-1782632 Share on other sites
betasp
It is right beside the battery on the old G4 models. I don't think it is labeled but it looks the same. Follow the above directions. Don't be scared, it is like the only button. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/144747-powermac-wont-start/#findComment-1782647 Share on other sites
