Be less vague? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1448730-office-2019-outlook/#findComment-598945765 Share on other sites

goretsky Supervisor Posted November 13 Supervisor Share Posted November 13 Hello, Have you tried running a speed test to your mail server, just to see if it is a connection issue? If that doesn't turn up anything, maybe try the Microsoft Support & Recovery Assistant (available from https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/resolve-outlook-for-windows-issues-with-automated-troubleshooting-tools-38e2342d-3527-4190-8754-a82d8b970fe2) and see if it finds any problems with your installation? Yes i believe you can do this through your own profile page on the forums. Additionally, I recommend checking a handful of things: size of the messages taking a while to sync (are there attachments, etc. that could drive the file size up) Up and down speed of your internet, is there network congestion on your local network that could be causing this such as torrents or large downloads Up and down speed of your mail server's internet (if applicable, probably not relevant if using a major email provider) number of messages being synchronized (is it excessive enough to cause delays) If all of these things look normal and still do not explain slow message syncing, it wouldnt hurt to repair your ms office install.
