Where can I buy this remote for Edifier 360DB in Europe?

Mine came with a "puck" (listed here) I have searched around online and I find it weird that I can't find any results for the reason why there are two different remotes listed along with this model of speakers.

Any help is appreciated. I also contacted chat support on Edifier, and they didn't know why the tall remote isn't listed anywhere, and suggested me to write to Edifier Support, which I did as well,

Do you have a model number for the remote (or part number)? Try eBay?

Not for the one listed on the US website. It is even in the manual, but no part number!

Yeah, no, you aren't 😛

There are actually more that look like it, but it does not say if it supports the S360DB. I sort of suspect the one for the S351DB should work, but that's just a guess!

I’ve found that most remotes from the same brands are interoperable to some degree. At that price point, may be just worth a punt either way?

Yeah I doubt that Edifier would admit it, but I would like an explanation why the US version gets the better remote.

Dear Steven,

Thanks for contacting Edifier customer support.

Regarding your inquiry, we launched a new version of the S360DB speakers in 2024, and they come with a rectangular remote control. Your speaker should be the older version with a round remote control. Unfortunately, the old and new versions of the remote control are not compatible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Your understanding is greatly appreciated. Should you have any inquiries or apprehensions, please feel free to reach out to us.

Best Regards,

Amber

Companies do this deliberately, to make you buy the new version of the same damn thing... :(

Apparently, Edifier remotes do not use universal codes (typical non-standard BS to lock you in!), but if you have a learning remote you can use those... But you need a working remote to learn from... :S

One store claims the remote for the S600SB works, but they're out of stock.

Hmm? In the OP I stated that I already have the "puck" remote, I want the rectangular one, and according to Edifier it only works with the 2024 model (mine are older). They don't even list it on their website to buy separately like other remotes are.

The only remote listed on the Edifier website for the 360DB is the puck, which I also linked (https://edifier-online.com/collections/accessories/products/edifier-remote-s350db-1)
