Adobe Acrobat alternative; what about EaseUS PDF Editor?

Question

I'm looking for a more afforadable Adobe Acrobat PDF program.
Paid version is OK.

I do like the MS Office integration Adobe has with the MS Office suite.

I found EaseUS PDF Editor as a decent replacement. What are your experiences with this? Does this also have the MS Office integration to create directly PDF files out of (open) Word/PowerPoint files? Preferably from within the ribbon.
Or do these need to be converted from within the EaseUS PDF Editor program?

Any other PDF-alike tooling besides EaseUS are also more than welcome.

Are you referring to the ability to export docx and pptx to PDF? (Office does it natively, is that what you are referring to?)

Have you checked Foxit Reader?

I don't have experience with EaseUs PDF editor. You can always check on reddit if this place seems dead.

Yes. Plus options like password protected files on editing/printing and so on.
Creating and filling in PDF files with text boxes etc.

I have used Adobe Acrobat for like ages, I really like it. However, it's getting more and more expensive to use on subscription (or just a license).

Hello,

I have always just used the "Print to PDF" option in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, etc.) when I needed to make a PDF file out of a Microsoft Office document, but Neowin has been highlighting various PDF programs for years (decades?), so I would start by looking at those:  https://www.neowin.net/news/tags/pdf_editor/

Foxit PDF Editor has a COM add-in for Microsoft Office https://www.foxit.com/blog/foxit-pdf-creator-add-in-gives-you-advanced-pdf-workflows-from-microsoft-office/

Very little info exists about it online though, I tried to find a screenshot for you and couldn't. Hopefully it's still under development. You might have to look at the trial.

I generally lean towards Foxit as my 3rd party PDF viewer/editor myself. Their suite has been pretty reliable over the years, and it's MUCH lighter/better on resources compared to Acrobat.
