directly. No connectivity light on the ethernet port on the back of the printer.   Just talked to a Epson tech rep and they said if an wifi extender is involved the is no promise that would work on their printer either. Best to connect with ethernet cable.

I'm confused, you said you had an HP printer...but you just mentioned Epson.

Sorry for the confusion but I had to buy a new printer cause the HP is dead in the water so i wanted to make sure the same thing wouldnt happen with epson.  :)

So far, no problems with new epson printer and wifi extender.
