Awesome song! I can't wait for the album. This was in the comments/description of the song...

You need quicktime installed. Then when you go to the site you click on the center of the page animation stuff that eventually says "Enter Here." Then you will get a popup that also needs quicktime to run and from there you click on the Slipknot logo to see the latest news and at the bottom of that popup is a link to download the song after entering your e-mail address and zipcode.

It's cool how Slipknot is still so loyal to their hometown and state. They are always talking about Iowa. They release stuff on their website according to Iowa time (central). And their website is even hosted on an internet server in Iowa. Usually the record labels do the website stuff however they want to and most bands don't care either way.

,Mar 17 2004, 00:25] oh please, I dont start a musical debate because my music obsession but thast just utter BS, second best known? by whom? Jordison is nothing compared to Danny Carey, Mike Gaspar, Lars Ulrich, Jukka Nevalainen and a big ETC.

Lars Ulrich?

This is totally offtopic, but COME ON!!

anybody can play drums just as well as he does.. Terry Bozio, Mike Portnoy and Danny CareY (you mentionned him, I know) now these are real drummers. Not 4/4 boom-tss-boom-tss-booboom-taratss-tss afficionadoes.

Don't get me wrong, I totally enjoy Metallica, but Lars Ulrich should not be considered as a great drummer.

(We) We are the pulse of the maggots

That's almost what it sounds like he is saying.

yup, i figured out that word yesterday....here are the final lyrics, which should be completely perfect...i was going to post it yesterday, but since only SD and toxikk and me are really talking in this thread, didnt know if it would even mean anything

"Pulse of the Maggots"

This is the year

Where hope fails you

The test subjects run the experiment

And the b astards you know

Is the hero you hate

But coheasing is possible if we try

There?s no reason

There?s no lesson

No time like the present

Tell me right now

What have you got to lose?

What have you got to lose?

Except your soul

Who?s with us?

I fight

For the unconventional

My rights

And it?s unconditional

I can only

Be as real as I can

The Dis-advantage is, I never knew the plan

This isn?t

Just a way to be a martyr

I can?t

Walk alone any longer

I fight

For the ones who can?t fight

And if I lose at least I tried

(We) We are the new diabolic

(We) We are the bitter Bucolic

If I have to give my life, you can have it

(We) We are the pulse of the maggots

I won?t

Be the end consequential

I won?t

Be the wasted potential

I can make it

As severe as I can

Until you realize you'll never take us down

It isn?t

Just a one sided version

We dealt

With a man as efficient

I won?t

Let the truth be perverted

And now I?ll leave another victim deserted

(We) We are the new diabolic

(We) We are the bitter Bucolic

If I have to give my life, you can have it

(We) We are the pulse of the maggots

(Do you understand?, Yes)

Say it again, Say it again

(One more time)

Say it again, Say it again

(We won?t die)

Say it again, Say it again

(We won?t die)

We fight

But no one can fight us

We live

And no one can stop us

We pout

But we're much too far

And the advantage is

The bad alliance

We never

Decided in the first place

We only

Get to spit back in their face

We won?t

Walk alone any longer

What doesn?t kill us only makes us stronger

(We) We are the new diabolic

(We) We are the bitter Bucolic

If I have to give my life, you can have it

(We) We are the pulse of the maggots

(Do you understand?, Yes)

Say it again, Say it again

(One more time)

Say it again, Say it again

(We won?t die)

Say it again, Say it again

(We won?t die)

well read what you put above for the def of the word. I didn't know But after listening to that one part about 5 times over and over that's what it sounded like he was saying. It's Slipknot though so who ever knows what they are thinking at times.

In my honest opinion... slipknot suck... they make terrible music, even if u cud call it that

ok this is what i say to people that just like to come in and flame

1. learn to scream and sing like corey

2. learn to play guitar like jim and mick

3. learn to play drums like jordison

but until then, stfu ....for what they do...they are good at it...deal with the fact that you dont like them, but dont say they are talentless and write ****ty music, because honestly....half the people that talk **** about music/musicians havent even picked up an instrument, and dont know how hard it is to actually write a song......just because you think something is simplistic/easy doesnt mean it is

You don't have to be a singer to know that someone can't sing. You don't have to play a particular instrument to know that someone can't play.

Stop getting so up tight... you reacting causes the problems. I personally don't like Slipknot... but that's because I think their lyrics are as shallow as an evaporated drop of water and they have the maturity of a 3yr old with learning difficulties. I prefer music with some depth and musically interesting songs... not all about making blunt overstated points, calling people maggots and producing generic heavy distorted music. To each their own.

Still... 200,000 13yr olds can't be wrong... Slipknot must be good.

Sorry, I poke fun... but I do see too many 8 and 9yr olds with Slipknot hoodies hanging off of them.
