My friend who is in London for the Navy right now is going to a signing and is getting his girlfriend to get me a copy of their new album with autographs.

He's gonna try to get backstage passes from them, pull out the "I'm from the MidWest" card on em, and explain that Slipknot has cancalled all 4, yes 4, concerts they've had here in Nebraska since 2000.

The concert in 2001, the pledge of allegiance tour, was cancalled cuz of 9/11, the concert was supposed to be the 13th, I had tickets :(

What a song. 100 times better than Pulse of The Maggots. Its more like a Stone Sour song, but i love it.

They also have new masks, which are pretty cool looking.

and slipknot arnt commercial..when is the last time you seen them on a tv show(cept of a live performance of conan o'brian), do you see big stands at music shops dedicated to slipknot.....no.

sorry to psot once again, ive listened to it three times

bottom line: if you have never liked slipknot, give this a chance, BUT if you loved slipknot for their heaviness, dont expect much

if you are up for Slipknot experimenting (like Toxikk), than this is also the cd for you

true die hards of this band will for the most part hate this, but overall most wont...expect this cd to sell a few million...i think

one last thign...i counted 4 new versions of "Bother"...good luck to all "metal" fans on this

this cd has some grooves --- Opium of the people, the blister exists, three nil--are my favorite songs...all the chorus's lack...on all songs...

rick rubin also made them use too many harmonizing vocals, and double vocals...WAY too much...i want opinions on this cd from everyone that posted in here

Corey Taylor tries to reinvent the vocal standpoint he holds during each album ever since the original self-titled, and this, for the most part, left me in doubt of what they could accomplish. Iowa felt over-produced and lost the rough demo sound, but their latest offering returns to the gritty days of what I thought would be lost. It feels as if his vocals have "matured" from his pet project, Stone Sour.

All I have to say is; Awesome album. :huh:
