Destian
Could we possibly get back on topic. I know it's extremely typical for republicans to ignore the issues and attack character, but at least ONE of you should be able to stand up for what you believe in. threetonesun
Every speech as-of-late I've heard him give he couldn't enunciate a complete sentence. We always hear this ragging on Bush making up words and phrases, but Kennedy sounds as if his tongue is permenantly numb. I'm not reading his interns leftist drivel. I could have said the same about Bush's first years worth of speeches, but unfortunately he wasn't drunk.

I know it's extremely typical for republicans to ignore the issues and attack character, but at least ONE of you should be able to stand up for what you believe in. The problem is they can't. They can't possibly defend Bush on anything. Hell, even the latest Washngton Post poll states that Wasington Post Poll article They can only resort to character assasination because his policies have hurt Americans in every way

Don't forget he has a DWI on his record. Oh, and don't forget about his drunk daughters and their druggie cousin either. John S. Veteran Posted March 9, 2004 Veteran Share Posted March 9, 2004 Link Tenet: Administration Did Not 'Misrepresent' Iraq Intelligence Asked by Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) whether he believed the administration had misrepresented the intelligence on Iraq, Tenet answered: "No sir, I don't." When Kennedy pressed the director about whether he had an obligation to stand up to policymakers when they were wrong, Tenet shot back: "I'm not going to sit here and tell you what my interaction was" with the president. "When I believed someone was misconstruing intelligence, I stood up and said something about it." Tenet added that sometimes language used by policymakers in public "doesn't uniquely comport" word for word, with the complex, more nuanced intelligence community language. ". . . I lived up to my responsibility," he said. Other Democratic members of the committee questioned why Tenet would not have made his disagreements known publicly. "I don't do my job that way," he countered. "If I believed something needs to be corrected, I go correct it."
username
What about the fact that there should no difference between being intoxicated enough to potentially kill someone, and being so intoxicated that you do kill someone?Bush and Kennedy are both equally guilty in my eyes. Their families just have the money and influence to bury such "silliness". i will go with that
Ian Crosby
how can he, Kennedy, be argued with when he does not have any evidence to support his claim that the intelligence was manipulated Please just read the post. You must be in denial. Seriously. You're wrong, yet you simply stick your fingers in your ears and scream LALALALA as loud as you can and ignore any evidence presented. Hardly a free market of ideas here.
