moeburn Posted March 23, 2004 Share Posted March 23, 2004 random lag with a high FPS is due to a crappy old harddrive. Look at your harddrive access light. I get about 40fps, except on the retail version i get all this new harddrive lag you speak of. I'm on a defragged 7200rpm 8mb cache 80GB westerndigital.
