Toxikk Veteran Posted May 23, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 23, 2004 Oh well another Philadelphia sports team lost before the finals, no shock there. yes, but this is the closest they have been in a long time. and they held on to the end. you cannot deny that they had an excellent series. they were the only team to really give the lightning a problem so far... tampa won the first series 4-1 against the isles and won the second series 4-0 against the habs. they are a DAMN good team... and phila was right there... game seven down by one goal. they had an excellent season.
