You do need a PlayNC account and a cd key as well though. But both you can get for free from the website. qoa Posted April 23, 2004 Share Posted April 23, 2004 Actually Pre-rendered means that the background (or other parts) was drawn on another machine, and is static, your pc isn't rendering it anymore than opening the background. Yes, scenes change a lot of pre-rendered games, but that's because the background doesn't. Pre-rendered games tend to look amazing but are all similar(i.e. run over that bridge, load, run to that door). Obviously a rendered game is one where your pc does the work creating everything.
