Adobe Photoshop Color Settings Problem

Question

Ok i had this problem before, but i managed to fix it. Unfortunetly i had to reformat last week and had to reinstall photoshop.

Basically what happens is when I save an image, it appears a different colour in programs other than PS (internet explorer, firefox, windows image viewer). The images seem to be alot lighter and its an annoying problem at the moment because i've got some important websites that need making.

Somebody much know how to help? I thought turning color management off would solve it, but still no luck... :(

i had the same problem...i fixed it, kinda forgot how i did that, but here try this..

open photoshop, go to view->proof setup-> and select monitor RBG. If that doesnt work, try the other options too. hopefully that will work

also, in the color settings screen, try settings- web graphics default.

ahh ic, gateway monitor eh? my old monitor was also gateway...may be some gateway problem....search around on the internet, i found the solution on some other forum i believe. :p hope it works :)
