well guys im relatively new to playing games on a ps2 ( since i bought one a week back ) , now i got a problem , after years of playing shooting games on a pc with a keyboard & mouse im kinda inaccurate with the analog sticks , so someone told me about gameshark for a ps2 , they say it is some sorta cheating device & helps you unlock many things on a ps2 as well .

can someone answer my queries , that is it a separate piece of hardware to be attached to a ps2 or is it a cd like the games we use , plus also id like to know that if there are any alternatives for it .

thnx in advance :)

yep, is a seperate device. Its a CD and a dongle (that u poke into yr Ps2 memory card slot). First u put the dongle in, then using the CD, u boot this gameshark software where u activate cheat for certain games. U can add more codes by looking them up online (codejunkies, cmgsccc). But remember, CHEATERS NEVER PROSPER (but i do it all the time). More info go to http://www.codejunkies.com

p/s: why dont u with cheaper alternative, like Codebreaker. Go to http://www.cmgsccc.com for more info on Codebreaker.
