Joni_78
When you copy a file in explorer, you'll see a rotating arrow dance across the copy dialog rather than the usual file moving along. I was wondering if it's possible to somehow get that X Mesh animation to .avi? ThunderRiver
Let me get it straight.. are you talking about the same spiraling wizard when you first boot up your newly installed XP system? The blue candy one? If not, I would not know which one you are referring to. I have not been to into LH since PDC.... Datalore
He's talking about the spinning arrow-thing you see when you copy files from one place to another. Joni_78
I got it in W2003 =). Copy large file and record screen for example with Camtasia Studio 2, save it as .avi and replace original .avi in Shell32.dll. Only thing I can't figure is how to get background transparent. Original .avi has background transparent color 255, 0, 255, and when changing Longhorn 3D objects color to 255, 0, 255, recorded .avi background is correct but it's still not transparent in W2k3. Avi should be saved with Microsoft RLE Codec. 272x60 10fps Edited April 28, 2004 by Joni_78 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/161540-longhorn-x-mesh-files/#findComment-2031383 Share on other sites
