Galley Posted May 1, 2004 Share Posted May 1, 2004 OK, I've got one of those Microsoft mice with the side-scrolling wheel, but of course, it only seems to work in MS apps. By accident I realized that in Opera 7.5 (beta 1) you can side scroll using the standard wheel, as long as the cursor is over the horizontal scroll bar! WooHoo! :D I wonder how long they have had this feature? I think it has been awhile, but I could never figure out exactly how to do it. They added horizontal scrolling (more commonly known as "panning") a couple of versions ago. For me it's worked since 7.23.
