I have no idea if this will work but you could give it a try.

In WMP, go to Tools>Options>Media Library

Then under the "Automatic media information updates for files" section, check the box for "Update my music files by retrieving missing media information from the Internet" and make sure "Overwrite existing information" is selected.

Then OK

Next go and update your album info like usual and see if it works like you want.

Jessica Simpson should not look like Marilyn Manson

ok.. here is the one reason why it's there... go to the folder that the music is in:

Click tools

Options

View (tab)

Show hidden files and folders

(make sure hide protected operating system files (Recommended) is unchecked also)

then you'll see a bunch of images in the folder containing her music. Delete them. If you want you can resave an image of her as "folder.jpg" (her album pic works well...

You can do it for the rest of the folders

Note Windows Media will prolly overwrite those images if you gave it permission to do so so make sure in:

tools

options

Media library

select - overwrite media information

but make sure when you Find album Info you'll prolly get manson again so click "Refine search" and type in her proper info and do so for everyone and you should get all her info just click the one that matches. and WMP should overwrite the ID3 Tags which is what brought that image along with it.

(took me about a week to get mine all sorted out once and it's still not done..)
