d10p
Hey all, I have the Recycle Bin on my Y'z Dock, so I want to remove it from the desktop. However, you can't remove it off the destkop or the applet won't work. Is there a way just to hide it from the desktop? I've tried searching and found this guide that doesn't work (some registry settings didn't exist). Thanks in Advanced!

d10p
Hmmm...it seemed to work without affecting the dock...weird, it always screws up. Well, if a problem comes, I'll just find a .reg edit or something.

Apollo
here is a way you can remove the recycle bin from the desktop.oh... i dont know how to "hide" it... REMOVE RECYCLE BIN go to Run > gpedit.msc Then, under "User Configuration" go to Administrative Templates then Desktop. Then, get "Properties" on "Remove Recycle Bin icon from Desktop", enable it, and voila. No external programs needed. edit: sorry, i should go to bed now
