0 AquaFX
so? you don't have to use darwin. that's the whole point of this. it boots up off the install cd of os x into a command line environment where you do all this.also in the first step listed there it says "and we're about to tackle the job that Darwin would've been used for if it were needed." ok you just totally lost me there buddy, i installed osx using a .iso file on PearPC..but i got that error, is there anyway to fix that error since i didn't install darwin...? 0 Dazzla Veteran Posted May 17, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 17, 2004 It feels like a P200-300 running XP with all it's effects on, so it's sluggish, but not unbearable. And no it doesn't take 3 seconds for the cursor to move, it's instant for me, I've allocated 512mb for PearPC as well. I've installed a few themes, installed Windowshade X and just installed iTunes 4.5:

0 okt00
So... I was worried about trying this on my athlon 64 3200+ system, I though I read somewhere that it won't work on 64bit. Must be wrong though. What kind of ram? (PC4000, PC...)
0 aldo
It should work _much_ faster on A64. I'm not sure if PPC takes advantage of this yet, however...
0 okt00
Currentally I have ti running off of my iPod, so it shouldn't be hard to move! :D BTW "Equally, PearPC will probably only run on 32-bit architectures. This shouldn't be hard to fix either. (You can donate...)" From the PearPC official, I know I read it somewhere!
