0 eaglebtc
You sure you put the right number of zeros ? No, it won't make it go any faster. Some programs will take less time to load, though. You won't feel a significant boost with more RAM.
0 McKrout
now i get this: grab this copy of pearpc and this should solve the issue for ya buddy Clicky Clicky!! TS
0 Litespeed
Yeah when PearPC starts it recognises 256mb so I guess I got it right :-) I've tried some other memory values and they all fail except 128mb. I used to have a real G3 with OS X and it was slooooow without sufficient ram. If the OS X running in PearPC thinks it only has 128mb ram, it will swap to disk more. Same with mem values... it wont load with the 512, even though i have over a gig of physical mem, but oh well... im still amazed that works, i wont complain too much about speed TS
0 Litespeed
And yet some peeps in here have their screenshots showing 256mb so I wonder.......
0 eaglebtc
The R2 release defaults to 256MB, instead of 128MB that 0.1.x use.
0 niteowl
I wish I even had 256mb of ram to give pearpc lol  My system has a total of 256mb, so I've got only 128 to spare ;)
0 Litespeed
The R2 release defaults to 256MB, instead of 128MB that 0.1.x use. Ahhh will try that then. Just running top in a terminal window here and it says: "121M used, 7.23M free" so 7.23mb of spare ram can't be helping OS X speed.

0 HaraldBluetooth
It still does not work for me. Using the latest version "http://www.kelley.ca/pearpc/pearpc_noarch-win32net-R2.rar". I have followed the provided instructions and guides on this site. BUT, I do not get a new card in OS X ! The TAP-card is working in Windows and PearPC does send data through it when I boot OSX. However, when OS X is booted and I: 1. start 'System Preferenses' 2. choose 'Network' I can not choose any card. 'Location' is on 'Automatic' but I can not change the 'Network Port Configurations'. P.S I have seen on some of the screen shots that some have a lot of options on the 'Network' page that I don't have. Any ideas (getting very frustrated...)?
