0 HaraldBluetooth
Also, could someone clarify how to share files between Mac and Windows? I thought I had it setup right...but it still doesn't work To reduce "risks" I would do the following: 1. make a new user i OS X with easy userid/pass. 2. Connect to the OS X IP-adress instead of the name. Btw, you must start the ftp-server in OSX first! (i am not at the right computer at the moment so i can not guide you here. Was however logical). NOTE: I am not sure if the denomination was ftp-server or file-shareing or whetever it was (not at the right computer as i said) Edited June 1, 2004 by HaraldBluetooth

0 Ryan Hoffman
is the new build out with full screen and networking, mouse etc ?? The CVS currently has the networking checked in. I haven't asked anyone, but I have a hunch that the reason why the Fullscreen patch isn't checked in is because its only for Windows. And about the "mouse", well, the mouse has always worked.. so I don't know what you mean... Does anyone know any MSNIM or AIM contact info for the developers? I'd love to talk to them for a few minutes.. lol

0 Predatorz:
Since many reply in this forum I guess I can ask here. I got a Mac G4 Cube for free, but it had no harddrive in it when I got it. I tried to put in my Western Digital 61,5gig that I formated with FAT, but when I started my mac and booted up everything was going really slow and it didnt find my harddrive. 0 oldaccount1
wow. this thread is HUGE. on my setting its 58 pages long! :( that's a lot. what's the largest thread on neowin? is there a way to find out?
0 oldaccount1
Actually, no it didnt.. lol. I created a new HD image using fsutil (as i've described earlier), and looked at it in a text editor. Luckly the editor I used showed "null characters", and turns out thats all the image is ;-). So its a nice 5-7 line loop, and viola, image file created :-).In other news, besides me feelign sick, my mother just went to the hospital with heart attack symptoms  I think I'm going to work a little harder now, just so I can stay up and wait for some answers. Who knows, there might be a build in a few hours :-). hey -- best wishes to your mom

What can I do, someone help me :) dont hold me too it, but i think your best bet would have been to delete the partition that you had on there before and leave it empty. when your cube boots, it should find an empty drive... at leasts that i would figure. when you get into the installer, run the disk utility and format in os x extended or extended journaled and i cant see where you'd have any problems with the install. good luck ForeverUnknown: it should work fine, i deleted it in 10.1 and in 10.3, but i dont think it sends it unless you tell it too, or at least it implies as much. but if you drop it in the trash folder, you shouldnt have to worry about trying to explain why you have os x running on x86 hardware and why you didnt pay for it. because of rules though, i would recomend not asking something about it not being legit and how not to get caught. as it stands, i just broke them for telling you how... think thats a first and it will be the last, as i do value being able to come to the site and post. good luck with that though. 0 Ryan Hoffman
 Announcing the relase of PearPCFront Beta 1! It's currently a work-in-progress.. but when you run it, you'll get the overall jist of things. Just one thing to note for now, your PearPC binaries must be in the \installdir\PearPC folder. I've included Richard Goodwin's "05.31.04, 12AMEDT" standard build with this. 0 Ryan Hoffman
I noticed a small small bug... File -> Exit does not work :-P. LOL (You can hit the X, that still works) If anyone has any PearPC problems, that is unrelated to this app. The only problem you could ever have is if it generated a bad config file ;-).
