0 Pootis Spencer
Bugger. When I try and enable ICS from my wireless connection I get: Internet Connection Sharing cannot be enabled. A LAN Connection is already configured with the IP address that is required for automatic IP addressing. DAMMIT!! Anyone know how I fix this? 0 panoz
moe: noop.. just alter your routers ip to something else than 192.168.0.1.. seems like the ICS is trying to get the same ip thus the problem.. thanks V.. (Y)
0 SAMeAiM
Yeah, just change your routers ip to 192.168.1.1 if it uses the 192.168.0.1 becourse ISC wants the 192.168.0.1 :( My router's ip is also 192.168.0.1, so i changed it to 192.168.1.1, but i couldnt really get it to work and i dont know why but i was just getting an error while enabling the ISC :( I'll maby try later
0 Acezo
Anytime  I actually had to change the Tap connection's IP address and set "Router" in OS X to that address, so if anyone's having problems with OS X not connecting, try that. And I can't get OS X to connect with ZoneAlarm open :hmmm: It's no problem though.

0 Cyman
Hey guys, yesterday, when I started PearPC, all of a sudden, during booting, I got this message: So what can I do about it? I heard this is called Kernel Panic and normally, on a real Mac this is no problem, but PearPC keeps telling me the problem persists, every time I start it. 0 HaraldBluetooth
Is it not possible to copy the information from a 3 gb drive to a 20 gb drive? Is there no ?Partition magic? around for OS X? OR, could img faked drives be mounted in the PC version? OR, can Ghost be used?
0 jedavis1
This is soooo kewl.. (at least to quote my 13 year old)! Using the information from here: http://www.kelley.ca/pearpc/ I am able to access the Mac's HD from within windows! I can use this to transfer files in and out of PearPC! After installing the OpenVPN I set it to an IP of 192.168.1.200 subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and then in PearPC (Panther) I set the network to manual IP and set it to 192.168.1.201 subnet of 255.255.255.0 and then turned on Windows Sharing in the sharing preference. I went to the PC and browsed my network and it shows up in the thing and I mounted and transfered a few documents! My right now situation is that I can't get on the net from within PearPC because I don't control the router, but that doesn't bother me! I can transfer files! Now if someone could incorporate the full-screen patch, the windows network patch and optimize it for the different cpu's it would be killer! Edit: Woot! Someone Did! www.richardgoodwin.com/pearpc (thank God for Richard Goodwin!) Jon Edited May 26, 2004 by jedavis1
