Office XP RTM

Has anyone got this and attempted to install the outlook/word updates?:s They seem to error and if you goto the http://office.microsoft.com site and try the autodetect thing, it shows that the product is upto date, when clearley there are patchs/security patchs on the main site for manual download.:mad:

Any ideas? It seems to say that the files have been upgraded by another patch or are different versions, i checked the RTM of Office with and official copy and the build numbers are indeed the same.

If you visit http://office.microsoft.com/Downloads/default.aspx you can see that there is not really anyworth while updates.

I get errors too, has anyone got those updates working?

I did have one theory, i assume we all are using the special developer CD key? Maybe it checks the product ID and MS have simply banned that key in the updates (much like Service Pack 1 sabotaged Office 2000 with the CD KEY know to be in wide distribution).
