Gary_Player
I set "Revalation" (from UPLINK) as the screensaver on quite a few computers...the people that were smart enough to push escape still had to contend with a desktop covered in crap till it refreshed :D
LOC Veteran Posted May 24, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 24, 2004 Skyrocket is from reallyslick.com, here's a direct link to the sourceforge mirror (note, it's freeware and available for Win32 AND MAC) http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rss-glx...et.zip?download

toadeater
I don't really use a screensaver, my monitor powers down when not in use, but my cat likes this screensaver: 3D Aquarium The fish are all 3D with smooth animation, looks very realistic. Applejuice
I use PKsaver :) It uses the alpha blending function to make smooth transitions between pictures; looks really nice, waaaaaaaaay better than the Windows' slideshow

Toxicfume Veteran Posted May 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 25, 2004 I just switch my monitor off when I leave it, even if I don't it goes to standby. But I kind of liek that rainy screensaver, d/ling it now ;) And what does Skyrocket/OpenGL fireworks screensaver look like?
LOC Veteran Posted May 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 25, 2004 Here's a couple of quick screens I took, you can control which firework is fired, there's 10 different types, and you can make it seriously bog down your system if you want by enabling a ton of particle effects, I only have mine set to 1 because anything more turns it into a slideshow. LOC Veteran Posted May 25, 2004 Veteran Share Posted May 25, 2004 Just go to page 1 for the link heh, here it is anyways: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/rss-glx...et.zip?download As I said, if you crank up the extras it's gonna absolutely kill your pc. I'm on a 3200+ with a 9600XT and 1.125 gigs of ram and it just poops on my pc with anymore than 1 on the particles.
