I'm on a 3200+ with a 9600XT and 1.125 gigs of ram and it just poops on my pc with anymore than 1 on the particles. 2160893[/snapback] Same config except it's an All-in-Wonder and I have no problem in 1152x864 32bpp with 10 fireworks (from 5 default) and 5 smoke particles (from 0 default). BTW I let SS run for 10-15 minutes after which the screen only goes to sleep to save energy. When in sleep, CRT consumes only 10-20% of normal operation.
