LOC Veteran Posted June 3, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 3, 2004 Yes but Spymac isn't some fly by night site, they've been around awhile and aren't gonna go drop off the face of the earth...like Aventuremail seems to have done, 404 city! lol
LOC Veteran Posted June 3, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 3, 2004 Wow, I take that back. Aventure Media runs the XMB forum software, and Picturehost.co.uk ...not exactly little known sites. I'll keep my faith in them for now then.
ericnmu
they dont even have their own hivemail skin?
ericnmu
I like how this "company" comes out of nowhere, offering 2GB of space, while google, as powerful as it is, has trouble offering the 1GB it has now, and not only that, but they get beat and hammered for having a bot that scans your emails. In all seriousness, why does it matter that a bot scans your emails? That bot isnt gonna tell 3rd parties your email addy. That bot isnt gonna take offence to anything you say, nor will it intrude on your privacy. How can it? Its a bot! Gmail is awesome in my opinion. Most of the people that flame it are just jealous of not having it half the time. 100% agree about the gmail issue.
Bearded Kirklander
They have a 10 megabyte attachment limit like Spymac does, right?
aldo
they dont even have their own hivemail skin? Exactly. Also, you can't expect a generic email package like hivemail to work on this sort of scale. I mean, when people start uploading and sending mp3 to each other then downloading them, they are screwed. Oh well...
Colin-uk Veteran Posted June 3, 2004 Veteran Share Posted June 3, 2004 was gunna sign up but it seems it,ll be as slow as spymac now..
