How do I edit the MP3 tags in the Foobar program? Let's say I ripped a CD and none of the artist tags filled out, just for song title name it reads: 01-songname

Anyone know how to edit mp3 tags? They read correctly in winamp.

Also a program would be nice :D

select file(s), right click > properties

also get the ID3v2 tag support plugin

enable it in Preferences > Playback > Input > Standard Inputs > MP3 tag writing > select "ID3v3 and ID3v1"

Right click the whole album (if you using azrael), select masstagger, add>Autotrack Number

Then select all, Propietries>Add Artist, Genre, Year

Then individually select propietries for each file and complete each tag file name

Here are some buttons I created.

Regarding tagging, you could also use the masstaggers 'guess from file name' feature to get the correct titles etc (provided the file names have a certain pattern and includes the titles of course). I find it pretty handy.

or you can use the FreeDB Support Plugin from this site

edit: it is just for complete albums and the songs have to be in the correct order.

Nevermind, thanks :D

Updated my buttons. After taking a shot of that I liked how people had their artists sorted in tabs so I decided to try it out. Took me awhile to do so and then when I finally finished I found out that I couldn't randomize between artists anymore. Now I'm going back to my original set-up which is what you see below.
