I don't want to create a new thread for my small question, so I"m just gonna ask here.

How can I make Foobar2k to be default audio player on my PC?

I just can't find the option to make it open MP3 files, etc :(

If you are using the 0.9 beta, just go to preferences>file types

If you are using 0.83, just open the fooassoc.exe file in your foobar folder.

I need some quick help :)

I'm using 0.8.3 with Navigator suite 1.3.2.

The problem is that I've got some albums with filenames that start with artist_tracknumber_title.mp3 instead of tracknumber_title.mp3.

I guess the Navigator suite is having some problems then finding the tracknumber of the mp3 so when I add an album that has it like that it will not line up as nice as it usually does with tracknumbers.

Anyone know how I can fix this without manually having to add tracknumbers to the ID3 tags or renaming the mp3's?

I'm embarrased to even ask this but how the hell do I get the "Now Playing Animation"? I know where the string is located I just dont know what to type in. Here is how the string I have looks, im using the latest Azrael, 5.6.

Here it is:

// Now-playing Animation

now_play=

$if(%_isplaying%,

$padcut($repeat('<',$add($mod($right(%_time_elapsed%,2),4),0)),4))

Please help

in most config you need to enable "Show dynamic info"

so is there a way to get foo_uie_albumart.dll to read album art from the mp3 file

also how do i get albums to show up in the album list panel?

Hello guys, my English isn't very good so I'll try to make it short and easy to understand...

I'm using this in Toaster to display the rating of my tracks ->

$repeat( *,%trackrating%)

which results in displaying for example * * * * for a track that is rated 4/5

What I'd like to do is to be able to display No rating for tracks that haven't been rated but I simply don't know how to modify my string :p

Here's what I tried, with no result ->

$repeat( *,$if2(%trackrating%,No rating))

A little help would be appreciated  Thanks

I began using it, any easy executable themes like we have that will make a nice customized foobar2000 with lots of plugins for you?

I really don't want to have to read this entire thread and go switching and searching through settings to make a nicely customized foobar2000 :|.

Hehe thanks. I dont noe what you mean by theme tho.

My Windows VS is Inspirat Longhorn if you wanted that.

I think my foobar looks "beatuful" because of the colours. So just change your colours to dark ones like mine :)

PS: No one solved my problem yet :( I bet it would be more beautful if it was fixed.

Can anyone help me with changing the colours of the Sidebar?  I imported this iTunes config which made it like this but now I want to change the colours.

I would like the bars to be alternating black and grey like my Playlist and turn the blue thing into a light grey.  Basically the exact same as my Playlist.

preference > column ui > playlists tab > playlist switcher panel display settings

you can't make it alternating black/grey, only solid color.

I really like what you can do with Foobar, but everytime I try it and try and get things working. Nothing goes right, It's all really confusing, not sure where to start.

How does one get a setup simliar to this one?

here

I think it would be a really good idea if someone wrote a guide, and put it in "Collection Of Essential Guides" section.
