Arckon
^^ @unknownlamma Do those things on the left (where it says album list, explorer tree, etc) stack on top of each other? For example, if you click on the explorer tree one, does it move into view while the others collapse? I'd like to know how you got your foobar set up like you did. I am still using 0.8.3 because of foo_uie_tabs not being ported yet (may never happen at this rate). I have also been waiting for the "specia" installer that had all of the most used components like they made for 0.8.3, but that may not happen for a looong time and I'm getting impatient. Also, could you tell how you did the playlist tree? That is really sweet!

+unabatedshagie Subscriber¹ Posted June 19, 2006 Subscriber¹ Share Posted June 19, 2006 Cant help with the AMIP but for the logitech problem, either uninstall the drivers or you could try reading this thread to see if it helps.
Jamushroom Veteran Posted June 19, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 19, 2006 (edited) The last thing is what I did but it doesnt work when the window is inactive. They have the same problem there with Setpoint. Does it work for anybody else when the window is inactive? I used uberOptions to enhance the Setpoint functions so now I assigned hotkeys in foobar for play etc and assigned the same keys for the media buttons on my keyboard. But the AMIP issue remains, I cant get it to work. Edited June 19, 2006 by Capric0rn

Definitely, I have an S510 Media Keyboard with a Remote and I did some research on the matter. I am assuming you have Setpoint 2.60 installed. Anyway - For the moment Ctrl-Alt-Del and terminate the SetPoint software. I'll walk you through step by step: 1. Terminate SetPoint 2. Set the keys in foobar2000 (Use your Media Key buttons when assigning) 3. Make all the Media Keys Global 4. Go to Program Files > Logitech > SetPoint and look for players.ini 5. Add this under the [Players] foobar2000=wac,foobar2000.exe,{E7076D1C-A7BF-4f39-B771-BCBE88F2A2A8},xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,Foobar2000 6. Restart your SetPoint (From the Start Menu and/or Control Panel) Try it out. It worked wonders for me. Only problem was my Shuffle Media Key didn't work, but everything else works brilliantly (Including the remote) If it doesn't work, feel free to post. I'll gladly help you with your research. Update: Follow this link, scroll down to the latest post. It contains a cleaner modification (In my opinion) Logitech SetPoint Thingie It works just as well, and it adds support to MPC. So in my book, that's just great.
Jamushroom Veteran Posted June 19, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 19, 2006 (edited) Doesn't work for me :s I dont understand this one btw: 2. Set the keys in foobar2000 (Use your Media Key buttons when assigning) I'm using the Logitech 3100 set. And I should stop editing my posts that many times :p Edited June 19, 2006 by Capric0rn
SaLiVa
Basically go to foobar2000, open up Preferences, navigate to General > Keyboard Shortcuts. See the Play, Next, Previous, and Stop buttons? Good, all you need to do is replace the Z, X, C, V with the media keys on your keyboard. Click on the Z, X, C, V's and press the appropriate keyboard shortcut. It is essential that SetPoint is not running in the background. No matter how many times I try, it never manages to read the key with SetPoint running. (Weird) I find it really sickening how Logitech makes their own standard for keys and buttons... Just like the Logitech mouse classic problem: "Universal Scroll" instead of "Middle Mouse"... WHY?!?!?!

Jamushroom Veteran Posted June 19, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 19, 2006 I dont have problems anymore with them, I just wanted them to work without using the hotkey system in foobar. And the AMIP problem is resolved to, now I use a different script for mIRC :p
Michael1406
So...you wanted hotkeys without using the hotkey feature built into foobar? That's quite...weird. :p
Jamushroom Veteran Posted June 19, 2006 Veteran Share Posted June 19, 2006 No it's not cause it works with my Logitech drivers but only when foobar is the active windows. It's not using foobars hotkey system when you push the play button on the keyboard.
Michael1406
Oh....I think I get you now. When I get my new PC I wont even bother with media buttons, foobar2k hotkeys assigned to Ctrl+1/34/5/6 (numpad) is fine for me.

Oompa
I just downloaded foobar today. It's awesome and it's definatly replacing winamp. Anyways here's my question. I've basically copied a config I've seen, or atleast tried from memory. I've colored the columns and now when the column is highlighted the color changes. How do I fix this? acedriver
use $rgb(color, selected color) ex: for $rgb(0,0,0,255,255,255) the selected color is white
