Did you setup the Custom Info the right way?

Preferences > Tools > Custom Info > General > Storage method seceltion: > Text file (fb2k\custominfo.txt)

And have you select the selection boxes under that?

Yeah. This is what it looks like.

Do you mean like either VA or %album artist%?

I'm having some trouble with the dawxxx666 setup. Please be nice, I'm a n0ob.

1. As you can see, there's no volume & track bar. How do I get it showing?

2. How do I get rid of the star ratings.

As for the Rating, just delete the images, the faster and simpler way :p

1. Maybe foo_cwb_hooks.dll is missing?

2. Go into panelsui settings (right click) and delete the // Rating parts. Into the playlist (item display) and into the track display. Then, remove the images, indeed. Feel free. ^^

Apul, could you please tell me an easier step by step.

I've resolved the time & volume bar. So thanks fellas.

Right click the playlist > Settings > Item Display; change the first line from "$puts(ratingsys,1)" to "$puts(ratingsys,0)"

I always put the line to the user globals, but this should do ;)

After almost one month, I have a new one.

250307.png

See it in action! (screencast)

Special Features

  • Album List and Browser modes
  • Support for coverPath user global
  • Tooltips!!11
  • Rating System
  • Coolness

Installation

  • Download this Zip file and extract its contents in your Foobar2000 installation folder.
  • Select the .pui file in Preferences > Panels UI
  • Make sure that Album List Panel and Browser Panel have the same playlist to populate.
  • Enjoy! :)

Needed Plugins (you must have the latest version of PanelsUI!)

This is my Album List code, just FYI

%<artist>%|%album%|$if(%discnumber%,'Disc '%discnumber%,)

Got it up and running but I have one small problem, none of my album art is showing.

It shows as black or white squares, any ideas?

Fixed, renamed all the album art to "folder.jpg" and it worked.

I'm rather new to foobar, please excuse my lack of knowledge. :D

P.S - Yes I was formerly an iTunes addict.

On the cover panel (track display) > right mouse button (rmb) > settings. Scroll to the botton and delete the "// rating" part.

ratingtrackdisplaync8.th.png

Into the playlist > rmb > settings > item display. Delete the "// rating" part, too.

Then, delete the images.

I was wondering if there is any way to sort by artsist>date>album and not have it display the date like in the screenshot on the left.

post-40433-1178373326_thumb.jpg

Reason being that if I sort by artist>album on the left it forces the listings on the right to sort alphabetically.

Nice, my favorite playlist, mind sharing? :)

Added a new bit;

Credit for Idea and images goes to Russell777.

Again original design by Tool++, any problems with the pui are my fault however since I made the code myself from a screenshot of his.

Code for the lyric page however is taken from CepiPerez I believe.

If you don't like the new change Apul, here is the original group display code;

$if($fileexists($get(coverPath)),
$imageabs2(86,86,0,0,0,0,1,2,$get(coverPath),NOKEEPASPECT),
$imageabs2(86,86,0,0,0,0,1,2,/images\nocoverb.png,NOKEEPASPECT))
$imageabs2(196,96,0,0,86,0,1,3,/images\reflet300.png,ALPHA-100 NOKEEPASPECT)

$alignabs(89,$sub(%_height%,54),$sub(%_width%,89),20,,)
$font($getpvar(f2),12,bold,175-175-175)
%album artist%
$alignabs(89,$sub(%_height%,40),$sub(%_width%,89),20,,)
$font($getpvar(f1),14,bold,150-150-150)
%album% $if(%date%,$textcolor(120-120-120)%date%,)
