basically apul's config

replaced the syscol with color and modified a bit to suit me :p

group view code by moglenstar :p

the config is so nice and i can't resist :p

Look at my "settings" window. You can switch between fonts: hooge 5_53 or Swis721 Cn BT D-Type.

Did some modifications to fooAVA (mainly color, but also so that you can get the group view with artists instead o albums), but one thing I haven?t found is where to change the font?

You can switch between default font: prv2ad1.th.jpg or hooge 05_53 prv1eh3.th.jpg

Other screens:

prv4mc8.th.jpg - Visualisations and Lyrics mode

prv5xn2.th.jpg - Singles mode and Search buttton "in action"

prv3sv4.th.jpg - Library Filter

Other color versions will be soon available.

Components needed:

> Panels_UI 0.13.6

> Cwb Hooks

> Album Art panel

> Columns UI

> Album List

> Lyrics DB

> Playlists Dropdown

> QuickSearch Toolbar

Optional:

- WSH Panels (Unstable. May crash your foobar)

Firs of all you need Album Art Panel. Then right click on cover->preferences and set in "behaviour"

Left click function - Next source

Instead of this you have to put some sources e.g.

i think there is an easier way to do this.. in jclim00's config he has this in his code:

I like new way - with album art panel, not only images, but maybe I'll add switcher so you can choose between album art panel and somethink like jclim00's config.

That looks so sexy dawxxx666. Can't wait for the release.

i just noticed a problem with your new config dawxxx666... i'm not sure if anyone else experiences this, but i'm using vista ultimate, all my components are up to date using the links you provided, and my cpu usage for foobar is around 40-50 when using your new config.. as apposed to about 2-5% when using any other config. You can notice it in the spectrum it only updates every other second, as well as when you move the window around, it's a bit laggy.. i'm not sure what the problem is.

when idle it's fine. but playing any song and it lags.

I think that the reason is: PanelsUI 0.13.6. Sometimes I have the same problem. We have to wait for new version of this component.

keep in mind i don't know coding at all but if you put

$puts(coverPath,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,*.jpg))

in your globals.. by going to pref>panelsui> click globals button... that should work.

Anyway, I fixed it by copying and pasting the code from dawxxx666's previous config

$imageabs2($sub(%_width%,30),$sub(%_width%,30),,,,,15,15,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,Album Art.jpg),NOKEEPASPECT)

$imageabs2($sub(%_width%,30),$sub(%_width%,30),,,,,15,15,images\pure3\reflet300.png,alpha-120NOKEEPASPECT)

Top one is for the album art, bottom is for the reflection picture

My Foobar, simple and very elegant yet easy to use and navigate. I won't change it for a long time though I need to settle a few album art issues :p . Most of it was from my ideas though Apul helped quite a bit with the track display.

I changed quite a bit in this patch, consider it the proper release whereas the other one was just a test.

The idea of this foobar was one that was pretty, fairly specific to my theme, but above all else, useable and obvious - it is designed so you do not have to click around for ages to do simple things. It is also configureable as you wish, you can choose from a multitude of options as to what things to have shown and hidden and where.

It may look odd on other visual styles.

why is my bignoart.png in the Top Album Art appears to be in darker color compared to yours in that pic?

- get artist/cover buttons (see readme.txt)

- glass effect on buttons

- red/blue switcher

- other album/artist art view (as you wish Bubbabyte :D )

- some performance tweaks,

Your config keeps getting better & better dawxxx666.

Questions:

A) How to get rid of the double "exit/min/max" taskbar. Preferably the very top one.

B) Getting rid of the track bar on the track text.

to remove the top caption bar.. go to pref> PanelsUI> and check "hide titlebar"

i'm not sure what you're asking in your second question.. you want to remove the progress bar that's on the current song playing?
