Scirwode
Scirwode, what I would recommend is first going back to a basic foobar. Back up your current folder (zip or another location) and then readd components one by one. I've had to do it before. It looks to me that something you're using is conflicting with the albumart. I knew it would come to that :( . Oh well, better get cracking then. Is there any other Album Art version that reads ansi as well as unicode? That should do it for ya. don't appear to be any instances of folder.jpg in mogfuu.pui :? however, under preferences > panels UI, then "User Globals" there is this: $puts(coverPath,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,folder.*)) $puts(artistPath,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,artist.*)) $puts(userFont,Tahoma) $puts(userFontSize,9) i tried adding %artist% - %album% and the directory where %path% is, but still no go :/ Edited February 12, 2008 by mogge
moglenstar
Let's see, you should have something like this somewhere.. (I haven't used my own config for so long.) I think I have mogfuu set to look for *.jpg, *.png, etc.. as my personal music library is filled with things like "cover.jpg", "folder.jpg", "front.jpg", "%album%.jpg". $replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,folder.jpg) That will be inside an $imageabs2(), and what it does is tell the $imageabs2() to look at the path of the current song, then replace the filename of the song, with folder.jpg: So if you had C:\Music\Some Artist\Some Album\01 - Some Song.mp3 it would take that, and replace "01 - Some Song.mp3" with "folder.jpg", giving you C:\Music\Some Artist\Some Album\folder.jpg Which means that it would look for folder.jpg in the folder of that album. So, to make it work with your music library, you would need to put something like D:\My Music\Album Art\%artist% - %album%.jpg where I had the $replace() string, inside $imageabs2() so in the case of mogfuu0.5 (I'm not sure if this was a version I released or not.. heh.) $imageabs2(30,30,,,,,5,5,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,*.jpg),NOKEEPASPECT) Would be turned into $imageabs2(30,30,,,,,5,5,D:\My Music\Album Art\%artist% - %album%.jpg,NOKEEPASPECT) ... I haven't tested that, but it should be correct. Hope it helps :)

moglenstar
Thanks, that worked :) one last thing, how would I add a no album art command so that it shows something, instead of nothing :] thanks again, appreciate it! Simply copy the album artwork line, and paste it above the album artwork line. Then replace the part that looks for your artwork, with the path to where you have an image to display if there is no artwork. $imageabs2(30,30,,,,,5,5,D:\My Music\Album Art\nocover.jpg,NOKEEPASPECT) $imageabs2(30,30,,,,,5,5,D:\My Music\Album Art\%artist% - %album%.jpg,NOKEEPASPECT)
mogge
Everything appears to be working now moglenstar, thanks again :DD also i noticed you released 0.2 here: https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?show...amp;p=588579080 but the link no longer works, however 0.1 is still up (thats the one i'm using). wondering if you have 0.2 laying around if you could re-up it :D edit: one last thing XD on the top, it just says "PanelsUI" instead of "[%artist% - ]['['%album%[ CD%discnumber%][ #%tracknumber%]']' ]%title%" (which is the default output located in Preferences > Advanced > Display > Legacy Title Formatting settings) Edited February 13, 2008 by mogge

vigge
After a failed attempt at creating a nice and useable layout in columns ui I went back to panels to develop a customizable UI based on my the color scheme I use in EditPlus (text editor), and above is what I ended up getting. No images was harmed in the making of this config as I've stuck to $drawrect and fonts only - I suck at UI graphics design and wanted something simple. I've yet to add any kind of layout/settings panel, but colors, fonts and the layout can be changed through vars scattered around the panels. Dunno if I'll release it, depends on whether or not I add a settings panel or not I guess.

Bubbabyte
vigge.. that config is beautiful. But i can't get my album art to show in the playlist.. what do i have to change. Also.. the only thing i can think of to make this config amazing is some sort of small spectrum, and an album art panel maybe in the lower corner or something..
