I think either of theses, Holland, Spain, France, Portugal. England possible would get in to the quater final.

i Argee the the england team really i think is not up to par, Got David James in goal and i don't think he is a great player, same with Robinson, both of them changed teams as soon as there club went down, Walker on the other hand is ok. But i am a pompey fan boy and just a shame that Shaka Hislop won't dump tobango because he is infact both nationals, and i think he is decleared as english, i think he is a cracking goal keeper and going to get even better, Then again people will argue about that with Robinson.

Defenders ooo the only ones that i think are good are the nevilles and Campbell, need someone like primus from Portsmouth :) (see i am a pompey fan)

Midfielders only ones that i think that work hard is scholes, sure he hasn't scored but look at the way he shoots the ball at the goal and passes, he work rate is good.

Strikers pffff don't like any of them, i think owen would probley have to be the pick if i had to, i just think liverpool haven't done anything for him, i think he should move on in the next 2 seasons if it still goes bad.

i would of liked to of seen danny mills in the squad i liked him in the world cup. shame alan shearer is old cause he would of been great, personaly people may say he is rubish but his shots are just like WOW he got a good kick.

Alot of people have mentioned the obivious teams but i think the Czech Republic will be the suprise package of Euro 2004. They have some top quality players such as Pavel Nedved, Milan Baros, Tomas Rosicky, Petr Cech and Jan Koller. I would n't be surprised if they won Euro 2004. My other favourites are Italy and France.

If France play as poor as they did to not get into the World Cup 2 years ago, i wouldnt count on it.

Im rooting for either Italy or Portugal, seeing Wales arent in it :)

france was unbeaten in qualifying, i would like to say england, because my dad is from bolton, but im gonna have to go with France, Henry is gonna carry them

the netherlands will not win... a lot of talent but they can't execute..

Spain will, of course, not win .. they just are not a tournament team, as much as i love their league they just suck at tournaments

To the contrary germany is a heck of a tournament team... we suck but i wouldn't be surprised if we were going to the finals (it's not looking good, though... hungary :pinch: ... romania :pinch: :pinch:)...

France...um good chances but we'll see they're getting old..

Italy.. YES.. i love trap... i hope they'll cut it..

portugal.. no..

england.. no

czech republic .. mm mm yea... they can do something.. but remember '96

greece as someone mentioned  oooooooooooooooooookey..

and no the US can't play... but they should really watch and maybe finally learn how to kick a ball (or ask your women's team..)

I hope Portugal will win, the same way the french hope france win or the spanish hopes spain wins....

The favourites for this Euro, is clearly: France, England, italy, Spain and Portugal (yes !)

I really hope Portugal or France do a better thing that in the World Cup :p

this week-end Portugal vs Greece, let's see what Portugal can do in is own territory :)

Well, being Italian it's obvious I'd really like Italy to win. Yesterday evening I was really happy when we won the Under 21. :D

But, being realistic, I found very difficult for us to win the non age restricted tournament, our game is too technical and we tend to score a goal and then go back defending our zone. We really should move and try to score again and again, that's why I don't think we'll win. :(

i fink u shud put the us womens team in instead of the mens as they cant play to save their lives. They would probably give teams like greece a run for their money

England all the way an scholes to break his goal drought by scoring winning goal in final

not really, they had 2 signifincant losses recently with 2 teams that are considered inferior and their team lacks stars

so did the lakers (basketball) but they can still bounce back. anywho, back to the topic, I think germany will always be somewhere near the top, whether they win or loose a few. the games they lost were friendly and coaches often put their not-so-good players to play for an extent of time.

The Netherlands will win. With Makaay, van Nistelrooij, Kluivert, van der Vaart, Sneijder, van der Sar, Stam and Davids we just can't lose.

i have to agree here. my vote goes to the netherlands, i just hope the don't play too dirty. seen a couple dirty games and wasn't too pleased, but then a lot of teams do at some time. ;)

lol indeed. they may just be the black horse. lol.

Azzurri all the way man. but the italians always lack something when they play. this year there's no maldini. definitely not good. i support them. spain is just as same.

probably portugal or germany.
