Lasha Posted June 16, 2004 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Well, we all know that Scooters hit the world a few years ago. Sometime in 2001, I believe? Well, since the first day they came out, I was the first person to get one in my town. After that, when about 100 people saw me, the next day, a majority of them had one as well. I started riding as a regular cruiser, but now I think I've moved on to a more "exotic" side, meaning that I do all kinds of crazy stuff like jumps, grinds, manuals, attempted 360s and etc. I know that a WHOLE LOT of people think that riding scooters is gay, but it's the fastest and the most portable "thing" that'll take you from one place to another. Maybe if you guys seen all the stuff that could be done with scooters, you might actually say that it's cool. Here is the link to Razor's official team website. I feel sorry for all those people who bought into the fad and got ripped off. My concern is, why do you leave out scooters out of that list? Can you not do what you can on other riding utilities on a scooter? DevilsJim89 Posted June 16, 2004 Share Posted June 16, 2004 Ahhh those Razor Scooters. A huge fad back in 2000. I think you could fit Scooters in with all the other extreme sports. It just really hasn't taken off yet - or dont even know if it will but those pics on that site are pretty neat. How is scooter-ing gay? It's really not that bad. I use to be able to do so many tricks until back in 02 when I jump a curb and didnt get enough height and fell on my chin.
