The ref should have moved the spot to the other end before it even started. It wouldn't have mattered because they were both the same. At the end Motson said that there had been a complaint filed to UEFA about the quality of the penalty spots. The penalty spot was a ditch with loose soil... the ref didn't let in a clean goal that the linesman said was clear... it was unfair. Yes, England didn't play very well, but to loose because the ref didn't want to accept a legitimate goal is wrong. They NEED to bring in video backup to stop refs making stupid decisions about events they didn't even SEE properly. I think there are going to be riots after this match because of the AWFUL decisions made by the ref. England was given the first yellow card purely to demonstrate that he could... the ref was biased and should be sacked - at a professional level he has no place in the game. If we had of had that bald ref then it would have been a great game... PS - Ronaldo was a punk!!! Diamond earings for a football game - what a poof.
