+hayc59 MVC Posted September 22, 2001 MVC Share Posted September 22, 2001 i was wondering if any guru's out in cyber land can help me? here's the thing.. everytime i go to www.shockwave.com and the page is done loading, a window pops up and says: your current security settings prohibit running activeX controls on this page. as a result the page may not display correctly i have recently downloaded the new version of Internet Explorer 6.0 2600 i for the life of me cannot find where i change that so it wont happen!! any help would be real cool! thanks in advance! Tools>Internet Options>Security tab>Custome Level and fiddle with the Active X options there. maybe set it to promt you, so if you find exactly witch option is giving you that error, then enable that one so u dont have all options ingaged.
