I mountain bike mostly. I used to downhill a fair amount aswell, but it wasn't as enjoyable so I slowly grew away from it. I like going over roots and broken down trees in a mossy forest, that's my specialty.

I used to be so involved in the sport I actually worked for www.mtbr.com. I later quit because, quite franctly, the owners are asses. I love the site still and the community, just hate them...

I still ride the Proflex 757 I got quite a few years ago (98 I believe). I've changed a few parts on it, but I love the suspension. The fork is amazing. A bit heavier than standard forks, but it's worth it for me. I actually wanted to get an Amp Research bike when I got mine, but the dealer made me realise getting parts would be a pain as Amp was pretty bad at supplying replacements.

Just bought a new Specialized Rockhopper yesterday, and got them to throw on some Hayes Hydrolic Disc Breaks instead of the Mechanical ones that would normally come with it.  And damn do they work well!

Too bad I gotta work tonight, I've been out riding all day.... Alwell!

$1,603 Canadian w/ 7% taxes. (Which is about 1,270 US)

Worth every pennie. :D

Ya, I'm not much of a downhill person either. But damn do I love ripping through a skinny trail deep in the wildness! Or high in the mountains above the tree line!

**Pause for orgasm**

As any hardcore mountain biker would agree.

looks like you must live in alberta? dont have the PST.. do you happen to live in edmonton?

I live in BC, but there's only 7% tax on bikes cause there 'economically friendly'. So they want to encourage people to buy them. :p

Yup, Trials biking.

Although I need a new hub cause my one is broken.  Probably gunna get a nice Goldtec one.
