In the UK it's law unless you are dealing specifically with business who do not pay VAT, that the price including VAT has to be the most prominent one. So to me charging $1.99 when it's really $2.14 is very silly :)

I do agree with you, by the way. But we seem to be so used to it that we kind of figure the sales tax in automatically while shopping. I like your way better though. (Y)

Also the weak dollar does not help things - it's a tough game to play right, Globalization.

I might be wrong on this but doesn't a weak dollars make U.S. goods less expensive for the rest of the world? That's the whole point right? The U.S. keeps their dollar weak so that their goods are more competitive in the global market? :unsure:
