Dominican0
I was wondering if there is any way to do this: Im downloading a file using Mozilla right. But something happened and it crashed and i got a sufficient amount of the file download complete. When I go back to the website to download the file again, it doesnt ask me to resume from where I left off, it just asks if I want to overwrite the current file and start the download again from the start!!! Are there any plugins or any options that I dont know about that will allow me to resume download after the whole program has crashed down or the download manager has closed down???? OPaul
I think the website has to support file resuming first. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/185766-mozilla-firefox-question/#findComment-2410040 Share on other sites
alfador
Firefox as of now, as far as I know, does not support file resume in differing sessions. So, no, I don't think there's anything you can do about it. em_te
Get a better download manager. Getright allows you to resume downloading files that were cut off by other programs. If you have Getright, go to "Tools" -> "Recover Lost Downloads" and then select the partially downloaded file and enter in the URL of where it can be downloaded from.
