Allowed 6 runs in one inning, including a three-run homer by Alfonso Soriano (who was named MVP). Curt Shilling mentioned that Clemens was out all night before the All-Star game to give some publicity to Houston and the big Game. Roger Clemens ended up embarassing himself and his homestate.....The guy is an amzing pitcher and there is no excuse giving up 6 runs in an inning....not to mention the other team hit the cycle in the first inning alone. O'well would have been nice to have a home field birth come to the National League...but what can you do. Maybe he just can't keep up the pace all year anymore. Perhaps hanging it up at the end of the year will be the smartest move.
