bangbang023 Veteran Posted July 1, 2005 Author Veteran Share Posted July 1, 2005 It's one great big guessing game. Lol, I'm glad it worked after that. hornett
Haha, not a great start (see attached pic) but aside from that, everything appears to be working nicely! In particular, autoscrolling appears to be much smoother than the official release. Thanks bangbang :) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/191297-fx-bangbang023-07-01-30-trunkwin32o2gal/page/37/#findComment-586148563 Share on other sites

wiFFy
I've had this problem since I started running you builds. This happens when ever I click a link to download something. In this picture I was trying to download your Firefox_SSE2_O2_GAL7_20050702.exe. It's supposed to ask where to save file. Using "Save As" option works fine. Any ideas what's wrong? Running Firefox_SSE2_O2_GAL7_20050702-build on windows2000@sp4. bangbang023 Veteran Posted July 3, 2005 Author Veteran Share Posted July 3, 2005 It should be working, yes. It works fine for me. You may want to try a new profile and see if the problem persists. RootWind
Just wondering is it normal for the optimized build to not be able to run multiple "instances" of Firefox? i.e. Running Firefox again would not open another FF window, but give that error message "Firefox is already running..." Running it with different profiles simultaneously still works though. (Some setting I'm overlooking?) It's been a long time since the last time I encountered problems because of old profile. (Some setting I'm overlooking?) 586155595 Hey man, according to another builder, this behavior is default even in the nightly builds. Nothing I can do. To be fair, though, when I click my shortcut with firefox open, it simply opens a new window. To be fair, though, when I click my shortcut with firefox open, it simply opens a new window. 586158044 Well I figured out my problem. It seems I can't launch firefox windows from shortcut if I have the MOZ_NO_REMOTE environment variable activated globally. [since I use firefox with multiple profiles, as a quick and light single window browser, and also as a power browser at the same time] Luckily, I can just use the batch file way, since I finally figured out how to finally have the batch file run and close instead of staying open until I close the executed firefox. (wasn't using start) Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/191297-fx-bangbang023-07-01-30-trunkwin32o2gal/page/37/#findComment-586159080 Share on other sites
