Are these Firefox nightly's or Deer Park Alpha nightlies? Also can I get a .exe file for these nightlies?

what are you asking? This is from the trunk so its deer park and what exe are you talking about? Download the self extracting 7zip file and let it extract and then run firefox.exe.

Would it be possible to build Firefox with --enable-activex and --enable-activex-scripting then provide the generated plugins as a separate download? I can't seem to find any builds with ActiveX enabled. I'm asking because the MS download site forces you to download genuinecheck.exe from MS and enter a code every time you want to download something from MS.

Find your "Firefox" directory and delete all contents inside except for "plugins" and "searchplugins". Then run the exe you get from me and extract it to one folder up. So, if you have Fx installed to c:\Program Files\Firefox, extract it to C:\Program Files\

anyone notice with the latest builds, when using gmail the "back" and "forward" dont work properly? is it me, or do i need a clean profile?

It happens to me too. It seems to do that only on the secure SSL Gmail.

Edit: I think the latest build just fixed it for me, though not entirely confirmed. Too bad Richtext editing is broken.

Im having problems with back/forward-function too on one particular site. murobbs When ever I read a thread and use the back-function, all links stop working. When I click a topic to go to another thread it simply does nothing. Also the drop menu stops working. After this I basicly have to boot my Deer Park to get it work. Im not sure, but I think the problems started on 20050726-build.

Pardon my ignorance but I have to ask... what on earth is this?  It says optimised nightly build - does this mean you're reprogramming it every day or what?

Bugs are fixed every day in Firefox, they are then uploaded for testing and distributed to people like BangBang, who then optimise it so they work better when loaded by a specific CPU. These builds are for SSE2 processors.

Damn, I only updated to the 10th not 20 minutes ago!

In a way yes. I don't use his releases but afaik he uses the latest nighly source code and incorporate patches which the officals doesn't seem to think neccesary anc compiles it with some special flags (therefore optimized).

Only one patch, that's all. I try to keep a vanilla code base.
