Most tab settings just don't register at all. Why can't I install themes? 585036422[/snapback] The themes probably need to be updated to work with version 1.0+ Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/191297-fx-bangbang023-07-01-30-trunkwin32o2gal/page/16/#findComment-585036882 Share on other sites

bangbang023 Veteran Posted December 4, 2004 Author Veteran Share Posted December 4, 2004 you have to edit a file to get some of the more advanced opts to work. Yo uneed to remove the call for precomiled headers. Goto mozilla\js\src\xpconnect\src and open up makefile.in in notepad and remove the following from the very end of the file: ifeq ($(OS_ARCH),WINNT)ifndef GNU_CXX # use pre-compiled headers CXXFLAGS += -YX -Fp$(LIBRARY_NAME).pch # precompiled headers require write access to .pch which breaks -j builds .NOTPARALLEL:: endif endif Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/191297-fx-bangbang023-07-01-30-trunkwin32o2gal/page/16/#findComment-585037890 Share on other sites

Hurmoth
This may have already been answered in here, but I really don't feel like going through 27 pages worth of posts. I downloaded the 12-5-04 build and I cannot seem to get Macromedia Flash to install correctly. Can anyone help? I download the Flash installation and go to install it, but it doesn't list Firefox, so I go to find the folder Firefox is located at and then install Flash, but it doesn't actually install. I get no errors or anything. kairon
Would rather get my builds from someone perhaps a little more well known and trustworthy (no offense) off mozillazine and not built with .NET , but thanks for providing nightlies for people who don't visit mozilla sites much. stockwiz
Hmm... bigbang is one of the most well known and reputable builders of optimized builds out there, plenty on neowin and the mozillazine forums alike use his builds for the pentium 4. He's certainly trustworthy and his builds are among the most stable I've used, moreso then even moox's. Hermoth.. you have to install it in the plugins folder. The last time I installed flash it worked alright when I installed it to that folder, but if it doesn't, you need to make sure the file npswf32.dll is located in your plugins folder. I had problems installing shockwave because even though it installed alright, my browser wasn't recognized because it was a self extracting optimized build so the required file np32dsw.dll never made it into the plugins folder. Best thing to do is just save your plugins folder if you are like me and like to change builds a lot.. I think firefox should have put the plugins and the searchplugins folders in the user profile folder personally, instead of the program files folder. I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not genius with the code, such as moox, but I am pretty well known within the community. My builds focus on optimized, unaltered code providing the same out of box experience you would get from the official releases, but designed to just start up more quickly on a supported system. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=62390 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/191297-fx-bangbang023-07-01-30-trunkwin32o2gal/page/16/#findComment-585048997 Share on other sites
