Steve
See all his cables LOL you need an iMac badly! or even a G5 with a studio display only takes 2 cables!iMac 1 cable for the power 54G card for net <-- 1 cable! and u could plug a USB printer into the apple router ;) G5 studio display - 2 cables 1 for power to the G5. Studio display gets its power from the G5 itself via second cable. and for mouse and keyboard both bluetooth, that would get rid of all your cables! :) Love my iBook only have 1 cable for power, use wireless mouse if I feel like it and got wireless net! I hate having cables everywhere What about your audio? :p USB hub... iPod? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/19/#findComment-2191676 Share on other sites

nuka_t
i only have VGA cable, power cable, sound cable, mouse and keyboard, ethrnet cables. i would need all those on a mac too. all the wires back there are my DSL modem, my phone and my router. i need to cleen them up. and sorry if you think i was flamebaiting, just a little joke, no need to get all mad about it. nuka_t
And nuka: Yeah, thanks for showing off your E-Machines... sure looks great compared to all the Macs around here, I think I'll give up using a Mac, that's just TOO uber! The CRT... omfg, damn that's HOT! It's so huge! Bigger is always better, my iBook must pale in comparison to the immense girth of such a thing! Stop being such a troll and go back to your corner, it's obvious you're nothing but flamebait. this thread isnt about showing off. its about showing people how you have everything set up and how all your hardware looks together. you were the only one that flamed me and its only because im a windows user. just because my pc dosent look as cool as yours dosent mean you can insult me. MipScript
Hahaha its true though when i saw it i just laughed not like he was saying anything against mac lol its just a joke [EDIT] I cant believe bling said 'immense girth' haha :woot: Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/19/#findComment-2192069 Share on other sites
Bling3k12
this thread isnt about showing off. I'm pretty sure any thread about posting how your setup looks is showing off your hardware. PC or Mac, you're still showing off what you have. you were the only one that flamed me and its only because im a windows user.I've read through most of the Mac topics lately and I always see you chime in with somehow Windows is better this way. It's a Mac forum, if you wanna talk Mac, do it, but if you're gonna try to say your way on Windows is easier by one click or so, I see nothing but flamebait! Example: The Neowin Looks Ugly in OS X thread, to take a screenshot in Windows, it's basically like this: Print screen > Paint (or relevant application) > Export > Upload > Give URL on Neowin. That's fine and easy, but here's my *easier* way: Opt+Shift+3 > ImageWell > Click Upload Button > Give URL on Neowin. Mine's easier by a few seconds, to me, but did it need to be mentioned? No, especially yours, since we were telling him how to take an OS X screenshot.just because my pc dosent look as cool as yours dosent mean you can insult me. I wasn't insulting you, I was insulting E-Machines. I have 2 friends with E-Machines, but neither of them would claim it and both hide them behind desks, because they know how crap they are. They laugh them off as crap computers anyways, so when you see an E-Machines being shown off in a Mac section, it's pretty much a "haha look he's tryin 2 b funny postin his pee cee in the Mac section" but at the same time, I feel like "damn, that sucks! stuck with such a crappy ass computer brand! i'd never show that off... ever!" So please, take this advice, stop trying to tell us Mac users that something's easier on Windows or telling us that Windows is better, your Mac sucks, because we've obviously been either fed up with Windows enough that made us switch to Mac or that, *gasp* we might actually not want to use Windows and like to use our Macs! And just as easily, we can say that your PC sucks and our way is better, so the best thing to do to prevent any flaming at all, and this goes to all Windows users in the Mac section, think before you press "Add Reply". KeR
I agree the old iMacs were just ugly, perfect for girls though...the one thing I hate now that I got a Mac is the mouse, it is uncomfortable and only one button is a pain in the ass, also no scroll wheel. oik
the only time i plug in a mouse is when i play a game. like ut2004, it's just easier to do alt-fire with a 2 button mouse. otherwise, the ctrl-click is 2nd nature to me.
