Your Mac Hardware Setup

You have 4 cans of that body spray stuff on your shelf...Have you heard of this new invention, it's called the shower ;)

I'm not so sure I like the style of the new powerbooks over the TiBook.

There was something to be said about the 'no ugly ports' being visible.

Still nice hardware though.

actually, 3 of them are all but empty, i keep them around "just in case" i want to smell like that one... i shower every morning, but axe is great for the times when i can't shower, but need to smell good/better. like afterschool but before i go to work... not enough time to shower, but still stinkin from school.

Cool PowerBook. I am looking for a cheap iBook clamshell for just basic tasks. How much did you get it for?

I spoke to some Apple seller who i got into contact via eBay. He wanted ?325 for a 300MHz Clamshell iBook (96Mb RAM / 3GB HDD):

To me that sounds ridiculous!

I got it for $650 canadian, I used my PC as a trade-in to cover $550 and I owe $100 on it yet.

PowerBook's Specs:

400Mhz G3 Processors

192MB RAM

30GB Hard Drive

14.5" display or something like that

It does everything I used to do on my PC - listen to music, browse the web (like 20 windows/tabs at any given time), chat on AIM and MSN, email and word documents, etc etc. All at once (my PC wouldnt handle it)

Well until I get my check so that I can get my new PowerBook, I've been on this powerhouse of a system.

iBook

366MHz G3

320MB RAM

6GB Hard Drive

12" @ 800x600 :p

CD-ROM

10.3.4 Panther

It's not bad, but I want my damn PB!

Also it's not my whole desk, I'm waiting to show that all off next week when I have my PB hopefully...
