Bling3k12
Bling3k12 the graphite iBook is sooooo nice... sh*tty res tho or else i want one... does it run itunes and the web well? macs are so nice even after all those years... Runs iTunes just fine for playback, I wouldn't dare try the Visualizations and ripping is I think 2x... pretty slow... :p Runs Safari and Camino just fine, iPhoto is a bit slow but mostly everything else is pretty decent running. Heck, I've even installed Xcode today and WebObjects Trial to learn some of that and compiling WebObjects Applications are pretty swift... I've got a Dell laptop right next to me but I won't use it, even if it is faster... I'd rather use this than that thing  I just feel more "at home" Sadly it's not mine, when I get my new 17" this is going right back to work where I borrowed it from. I just hope they don't mind that I formatted and put Panther on it   Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/192078-your-mac-hardware-setup/page/21/#findComment-2231791 Share on other sites

Southern Patriot
Ok, so, you're obviously an XPostFacto user :)What hardware's in your 7300, and what G3 upgrade is it? Sonnet Crescendo G3/300Mhz and a PCI USB2/FireWire card. Soon I'll add a larger hard drive and some more RAM, maybe even a PCI Radeon video card as well. FWIW, the system only cost me $40 on eBay (before adding the USB/FireWire card). I don't have any legacy Macs capable of running Panther any more, but, I assume Ryan has got the internal video on the 7300 working then? Southern Patriot
I don't have any legacy Macs capable of running Panther any more, but, I assume Ryan has got the internal video on the 7300 working then? Yes, he did (very nicely, in fact). The 7300 had a Twin Turbo 128 in it when I got it, but I could never get it working with Panther (but it did work with Jaguar), so I simply took it out and am selling it on eBay (which actually means that I'll recoup some of the $40 that I spent on the computer itself). SFNE Freak
Be careful with case warpage. Mine started warping with a 1Ghz G4 and 32MB GPU...I imagine its only worse with a 1.33Ghz G4 and 64MB GPU.
